Compensation: $44.58–$47.52/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (30 hours/week, no weekend rotation)
Setting: Outpatient Therapy
Position Summary
As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide exceptional rehabilitation services for patients in an outpatient setting. This role focuses on improving patients’ independence and functionality through individualized therapy plans tailored to meet their specific needs. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to meet their rehabilitation goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions targeting areas such as:
- Cognitive skills
- Muscle strength and coordination
- Endurance and mobility
- Sensory integration and balance
- Activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and adaptive techniques.
- Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain compliance with documentation and billing requirements.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, fostering a positive therapy experience.
Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Texas or proof of eligibility.
- A minimum of 1–2 years of experience (new graduates not eligible).
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
