Facility: Senior Living Facility (63 beds with excellent reviews)
Compensation: $28–$35/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (35 hours/week, flexible as needed, no weekend rotation)
Reports To: Director of Rehab
Position Summary
CTO will Provide rehabilitation services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The COTA will implement occupational therapy programs to enhance patients’ independence and functionality, working closely with a supportive rehabilitation team.
This role offers a flexible weekday schedule in a highly-rated facility known for its patient-centered care and excellent reviews.
Responsibilities
- Attend and contribute to patient care and team meetings as required.
- Adhere to patient treatment schedules and ensure timely clinical and billing.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation team members to develop individualized therapy plans.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and exercises.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all treated patients.
- Clean, maintain, and report repair needs for therapy equipment.
- Deliver high-quality care in a compassionate and respectful environment.
- Implement individualized treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist
- Cognitive skills/Muscle strength and coordination
- Mobility and balance/Activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Fall risk management/Health and wellness
- Community reintegration/Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Valid COTA license in North Carolina or proof of license eligibility.
- Reliable transportation or valid driver’s license.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Compliance
- Adhere to all legal requirements, and policies/ HIPAA/ Federal False Claims Act.
- Participate in required training and quality assurance programs.
- Report concerns or incidences of non-compliance promptly.
